QUEUE MODULE

The queue module is divided into two parts: the Queue Import Module (for import shipments) and the Queue Export Module (for export shipments).

Queue Export Module is an informational tool for warehouse staff, providing an overview of the current status of each shipment in terms of security control, along with all necessary shipment details:

This information is displayed on screens in the warehouse
The module uses three statuses: Waiting for Security Control - In Control - Ready
Once the security check is completed, the staff are notified and can proceed with storing the shipment in the appropriate warehouse location

The Queue Import Module ensures smooth handling and tracking of shipments during the final stages of processing:

Manages the final stages of import processing, from import flight delivery to cash desk handling
It operates as a "queue" during the release of shipments from the warehouse
This module is used by both handling staff (warehouse workers) and pickup personnel
Every delivery is assigned a unique queue number
The pickup person can monitor their shipment's current status - whether it's in progress, ready, or done - via a TV screen that displays all shipments in the queue sorted by status
The handling staff update each shipment's status step by step throughout the release process
